Admission Procedure

Eligibility For Admission

B. Pharmacy / Pharm. D Courses

Admissions into B. Pharm and Pharm. D courses are through EAMCET Entrance Examination, through the Convener students should report to the college subsequently for confirmation of admission.

Management seats are filled directly by the college. Later Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHF), Palamuru University (PU) approves the same.

M. Pharmacy / Pharm. D (PB)

Admissions into M. Pharm and Pharm. D (PB) courses are through PGCET Entrance Examination through the convener. Students should report to the college subsequently for confirmation of admission.

Management seats are filled directly and approved by Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHF), Palamuru University (PU) subsequently.

D. Pharmacy

Admission Procedure requires a minimum qualification of 10+2 or it is through degree DOST admissions. (Based on intermediate merit)

Schedule of Admission

Usually, the admissions by the EAMCET convener start in July/Aug. and end by Oct/Nov. every year by announcing the schedule in the leading newspapers. After the counselling is over, they fix last day for spot admission at college level for left over seats. This will be usually in November every year.

Under management quota there will be lot of enquiries. All these enquires are registered formally. Date is fixed for admission after the announcement of the EAMCET results and communicated to all those registrants and admissions are given on the basis of marks at the Intermediate level for the candidates present on that day. Last date for management quota is also the same as for spot admissions. Generally, the management quota seats are filled early.

Fee

We charge fee fixed by Telangana Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (TAFRC) for students admitted under convenor and Management Quota.

Acceptance Procedure

To the first year of the B. Pharm degree course

  • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination with 50% marks in Biology/Mathematics/Biotechnology/Computer Science separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics/Biotechnology/Computer Science put together.
  • Candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes with a total annual family income not exceeding Rs.2.5 Lakhs will have a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • The Scheduled Cast and Scheduled Tribe candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination.

To the M. Pharm degree course

  • A pass in B. Pharm course with 55% aggregate marks in all the years.

To the second year of the B. Pharm degree course through lateral entry admission.


(Admission to direct second year classes, three years duration)

  • A candidate who has passed D. Pharm course of Education Regulation 91 are eligible for direct admission to second year B. Pharm.
  • Final D. Pharm examination conducted by an authority approved by the P.C.I with a minimum of 50% of aggregate marks in all subjects of Final D. Pharm.

Commencement of Classes: October
Application forms are available at the college office throughout the year.
