Pharmaceutics is the study of relationship between drug formulation, delivery, disposition & chemical response. The development has been pursuing research in the area for many years. It is a study of the quantitative delivery. It introduces Design, Development & evaluation of drugs in combination with an appropriate dosage form.
Pharmacology is the study of how drugs interact with living organisms to produce a change in function. If substances have medicinal properties, they are considered pharmaceuticals. The field encompasses drug composition and properties, interactions, toxicology, therapy, and medical applications and antipathogenic capabilities.
Pharmaceutical chemistry is the study of drugs, and it involves drug development. This includes drug discovery, delivery, absorption, metabolism, and more. There are elements of biomedical analysis, pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics. Pharmaceutical chemistry work is usually done in a lab setting.
Pharmacy practice is the discipline of pharmacy which involves developing the professional roles of pharmacists. The practice of pharmacy requires excellent knowledge of drugs, their mechanism of action, side effects, interactions, mobility and toxicity. At the same time, it requires knowledge of treatment and understanding of the pathological process.
Pharmacognosy is the study of medicines derived from natural sources. The American Society of Pharmacognosy defines pharmacognosy as “the study of the physical, chemical, biochemical and biological properties of drugs, drug substances or potential drugs or drug substances of natural origin as well as the search for new drugs from natural sources.”
The study of numbers, shapes, and patterns is called math. In other words, we can define the term math as, the field of study that uses numbers and symbols for measurement, properties, relationships of quantities, and sets. Mathematics is useful for solving problems that occur in the real world, so many people besides mathematicians study and use mathematics.
